In years alternating the National Catholic Youth Conference, the CYO/Youth & Young Adult Ministry Office is pleased to offer a Summer Youth Trip, with destinations rotating each summer.  Our past destinations have included San Antonio and Walt Disney World. 

Many parishes have indicated their interest in an office-sponsored summer trip.  The main reason voiced has been the challenge for smaller youth groups in filling an entire bus by themselves.  We hope that this service will be helpful to our parish youth groups in the Archdiocese.

This trip is being organized similarly to our office-sponsored trip to the National Catholic Youth Conference.  Teenagers must travel with a parish-chaperoned group within the office-sponsored trip.  We require at least one adult over 21 years old for every 10 teenagers under 18.   Unlike the March for Life trip, we are not accepting registrations by individual teenagers separate from their parish youth group.  The purpose of the summer trip is to enhance and build community within the parish youth groups.

The next Summer Trip will be offerred in 2012.  Information and inquiries will be sent out to parishes in early Spring, 2012.
