In conjunction with Pope Benedict’s call for a Year of Faith, Archbishop Aymond has proclaimed a Year of Family and Faith for our archdiocese.  Under the leadership of the Family Life Apostolate, many offices and ministries will offer resources, events, and ideas to help strengthen the family and its faith in our local Church.  During this year the CYO Office will be active in this partnership, offering workshops for helping parents better understand and connect with their teen children and helping youth ministers do their part  in strengthening family life.  We may also include a special parent track at World Youth Day New Orleans in October.
